Dress Code/Studio Policies

  • There is a yearly registration fee of $15.00 upon enrollment in regular season classes. ($10.00 if registration is complete before June 30th of previous dance season) This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month, August through May.
  • Fees received after the 5th are subject to a $10.00 late fee.
  • Returned drafts are subject to a $10.00 fee. Returned Checks are subject to a $35.00 fee.
  • Tuition payments correspond to 4-week intervals beginning the last week of August and continuing through the June show.
  • Families with siblings enrolled receive a $15.00 discount off of the 2nd child's fees and a 50% discount off of the 3rd child's fees.

Payment Methods

  • Selinsgrove Dance Studio accepts cash, check or credit cards for purchases.
  • Automatic monthly tuition payments can be set up at the studio or over the phone.
  • Total fees due will depend on the class length and multiple classes/family discounts.

All dance wear/shoes can be purchased through SDS. This is not mandatory, however it does help create uniformity and ensures that it remains within our studio dress code.

No jewelry except for tiny earrings.


The culmination of the dance studies throughout the year is the Holiday and June ShowsThe performance are intended to instill a sense of pride and accomplishment in our dancers.  Show and 
rehearsal dates/times are mandatory for all students participating in the show.  They are held the week prior to the performance.


Regular Class attendance is necessary to improve. Sporadic attendance is not encouraged and S.D.S. reserves the right to remove any student from a performance due to poor attendance.

Summer classes are not mandatory at S.D.S. however we encourage our dancers to continue their dance education during the summer months.  

Alle dancers that are going to be performing in Disney must have attended the summer dance schedule the prior year.  No exceptions will be made.  

S.D.S. reserves the right to remove any student from the Disney Performance due to poor attendance.

  Friends of SDS offers fundraising opportunities to dance families to offset the expense for our "Dancin' in Disney 2018" trip .

Step 1: Voluntarily participate in monthly fundraisers---Or perhaps even organize one 
fundraiser if you’d like to help out! 
Step 2: Turn in fundraiser monies with ONE check (no cash, please) made out to SDS. 

Step 3: Individual Student totals will be emailed to families. Quarterly balances will be mailed out as long as you have participated in a fundraiser since the previous mailing.

**90% of your profit goes directly into YOUR dancer’s Dancin' Disney account!

**10% of your profit goes directly to Friends of SDS. 
This money is used to cover administration costs and unknown expenses that come up during our fundraisers. 

If you do participate in fundraising and do not end up going to Disney with our group - the money will be forfeited to the "SDS friends account".
